2006 Firemen's Picnic & Dance

The weather for Summerfest 2006 was perfect. Saturday night was clear and warm with temps reaching into the 80's. The Hidden River Band performed and kept the dance floor packed all night long. They were a big hit and will be back at next years Summerfest. Fireworks at 10pm were spectacular. The Bartolotta Fireworks company did an awesome job, despite the help of our own Jim Romano.

Sunday started out a bit cloudy and by mid-day there were a few sprinkles of rain, but that cleared out pretty quick. We had another great turnout despite the fact that there were a number of other events going on that day. Music was provided by the Central Wisconsin Concertina Club from 10am to 1pm. Then Hidden River performed from 2pm to 6pm. The Classic Car Show was also a big hit as was the Trap Shooting that started first thing in the morning.
