At the Summerfest in 1995, a DJ from WHDG in Rhinelander made the challenge that no one could knock him over with a fire hose. In fact, he boasted, that for a donation to the Fire Department, anyone who wanted to try would get a chance. This is the story in pictures. |

Corky says "For safety you need to wear the helmet and shield, plus the jacket." DJ Dave says "Nonsense. The helmet will be enough for me." |

"All right. Let's get this show on the road. Whose feeling lucky?" |

First let's try out the water. "Sure it's cold." Says DJ Dave. "But not much more than a rain shower. This is going to be a snap." |

"OOOOh I'm getting wet. Is that the best you can do?" |
 |
"Yawn. Seriously. I thought these things were strong." |
 |
"Hey! Wait a minute ! I'm just kiddin around here. That's good enough" |
 |
"O.K. You win! I believe you. I've got water in places I've never had water before." |

"Next? What do you mean next?" |
