Engine #1
Is a1995 Freightliner built by
Custom Fire Apparatus carries 1,000 gallons of water. 1,250 gpm pump,
Seating for 5. 3-backseats are air pack jump seats. Engine #1 is the first
new engine on all residential and commercial fire alarms and or fires.
Engine # 1 also carries the Thermal Imaging Camera which is used to detect
fire, or hot spots, hidden in ceilings and behind walls using infra red
detection

Engine # 2
I s
a 2005 Freightliner built by Pierce Manufacturing. It carries 2,000 gallons of
water, 1,250 gpm pump, and a 30 gallon on-board Class A foam system. It’s the
first engine on all car accidents/fires, wild land fires, mutual aid calls. Has
an 8-inch rear air actuated dump valve and is capable of dumping from inside the
cab.

Tanker # 1
Is a 1988 International built by an independent
manufacturing plant in Wisconsin. It carries 2,000 gallons of water, has rear
and side dump valves. It is the first tanker called out on all fire calls .

Rescue # 1
Is a 2001 Peterbuilt
manufactured by Mickey Bodies Incorporated that started life as a beverage truck
and was converted into a heavy rescue unit. The vehicle carries all extrication
equipment, cribbing, air bags, haz-mat equipment, ice rescue equipment, extra
medical supplies, spare SCBA bottles, and the gear needed to clean up an
accident scene .

Rescue # 2
Is a 2006 Chevy 3500
Quad Cab outfitted by Monroe Truck Incorporated with an 8-foot fiberglass
utility box. The vehicle lights were outfitted by the members of the department.
The vehicle is first out on all medical calls and carries jumps kits,
deliberators, and medical supplies. The vehicle also carries some Wild Land
equipment, and will soon be outfitted with a brush attack unit.

Water Supply Truck
This is a 1984 Ford
F-350 built by Darley Manufacturing Incorporated. Is has a 750 gpm front mount
pump. It carries no water. It does carry 1,000 feet of large diameter supply
hose. This vehicle goes directly to water sources during fires, and is used to
fill tankers when fire hydrants are not available.
 
6-Wheeler
Our 6 wheeler is a 1997
Polaris 6x4 atv, converted by fire/rescue personnel to meet the needs of
off-road rescues, used many times for aiding injured snowmobiles , skiers,
hikers, hunters, out of remote wooded locations.
It carries a stokes
basket and medical supplies for any wilderness rescue.
Recently the six wheeler
was used to haul fire fighting equipment into a remote location for a tragic
twin engine plane crash.
